Jia is an innovative thinker with extensive finance knowledge and demonstrated experience working in the government and not-for-profit sector. Jia is passionate about making a difference by solving real-world problems and empowering vulnerable people.
Having worked for an aged and disability care (NDIS) provider (CatholicCare) and for the Victorian government’s community housing regulator (Housing Registrar), Jia works with the government, community agencies, industry peak bodies, advocates and disadvantaged individuals to advance social justice.
Jia has a breadth of finance and risk management knowledge, having successfully completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program and two postgraduate qualifications from the Australian National University – Master of Finance and Master of Financial Management.
Jia is also a NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) Certified Interpreter (Mandarin/English) as well as a certified Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aider.
