Lachlan is an experienced administrator and program manager who has worked across a range of not-for-profit organisations. Lachlan is focused on using his skills to empower young people and achieve positive social change. Following his work with Lirata, Lachlan moved to a program manager role at Ardoch.

Lachlan has strong experience in community development with Indigenous communities. Prior to joining Lirata, Lachlan worked for over five years as Programs Manager at the Cathy Freeman Foundation. In that role Lachlan managed the implementation of all CFF educational programs in Queensland partner communities and managed the national Horizons Program for four years. Lachlan oversaw the implementation of culturally appropriate education programs in remote Aboriginal communities, including Palm Island and Woorabinda. Lachlan's key responsibilities included team leadership, staffing & HR, budgeting, program implementation, community engagement, stakeholder management and monitoring and evaluation. Lachlan also previously worked as Program Manager Assistant with the Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience at Monash University.
