Lily Habib has extensive knowledge in strategic planning, business development and growth, sale and acquisitions, portfolio management, sustainability strategy, risk, financial and change management.
With 20 years of experience in the energy sector, Lily previously led Pacific Hydro’s Australian generation and projects business, with development in wind, solar, hydro, hydrogen and storage, adding 2 GW large-scale development to the company’s project pipeline. In addition to her work in renewable energy, while at Pacific Hydro, Lily led the diversity and inclusion strategy and chaired the Reconciliation Action Plan committee.
In addition to her directorship with Lirata, Lily is on the Board of MSBase Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation which oversees a web-based platform dedicated to sharing, tracking and evaluating outcomes data in Multiple Sclerosis and other Central Nervous System diseases, for the benefit of people with Multiple Sclerosis.
