Fran is a specialist in monitoring, evaluation and learning, in sectors including health, community services, education and refugee/migrant services. Fran has a Masters level qualification in evaluation and has used this to build evaluation capacity across many organisations. Fran presented at the Australasian (now Australian) Evaluation Society conference in September 2018, on the topic of strengthening evaluation techniques for training programs. Following her work with Lirata, Fran moved to an internal evaluation support role at Djirra.
Fran has worked in a research and evaluation capacity in a variety of roles for not-for-profits and charities in the UK and Australia, including Good Shepherd Microfinance, Fred Hollows Institute, the UK Charity Retail Association, the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and International Detention Coalition.
