Practical training to help boost your impact!
Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Frameworks provide the blueprint for data collection, reporting and reflection. We’ve assisted organisations large and small, across many health and community services sectors, to use these tools to strengthen their program and project management, measure the effectiveness of their work, and advocate on behalf of their clients and communities.
We are pleased to offer our tried and tested capability building workshops online again in 2022, for anyone who works in a social purpose organisation.
Participants in our interactive workshops will use real projects or programs as working examples, with a strong focus on ‘learning by doing’. Our facilitators, Alex Gruenewald and Kate Randall, will guide participants through Lirata’s practical processes to develop key components of an M&E Framework. Drawing on our extensive experience, we will demystify concepts, help participants apply them to their own contexts, and provide clear templates and guidelines for use after the training.
This module focuses on Monitoring and Evaluation Frameworks and is delivered over two half-day sessions. After completing this module participants will:
- Be able to articulate the differences between Monitoring and Evaluation
- Be able to explain the purpose and structure of an M&E Framework, and its relationship with program logic or theory of change
- Be able to confidently read, understand and identify the various elements of an M&E Framework
- Have drafted key elements of an M&E Framework for a program or project, based on its program logic or theory of change
- Be able to design appropriate questions and indicators, and identify suitable data sources, to support useful M&E
- Take away a practical template and supporting resources to help them develop M&E Frameworks in future
Participants wishing to register for this module must have a good working knowledge of Program Logic & Theory of Change which we offer as the first module of this training program. Participants can register for just one or both of the modules, with a discount available for those who register for both.
