Barwon CLS Outcome Measurement Support

Barwon Community Legal Service provides free legal information, advice and casework to people across the Greater Geelong, Bellarine Peninsula, Surf Coast and Colac Otway communities in Victoria. In common with community organisations across the legal assistance sector and beyond, Barwon CLS has identified Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) as a key strategic area for development

Lirata has partnered with Barwon CLS to build capacity in M&E, with a specific focus on outcomes measurement. The project will strengthen Barwon CLS staff knowledge and skills, and develop key frameworks and tools that will assist Barwon CLS to measure and demonstrate its impact. The project includes provision of training for staff, development of an organisational Theory of Change and M&E Framework, review of data collection tools and processes, and flexible mentoring and implementation support.

This work will support Barwon CLS to improve its operations, celebrate its achievements, and demonstrate the value of its work to funders and the community.
