About this project
Hume Riverina Community Legal Service (HRCLS) is a not-for-profit community legal centre providing free legal assistance to people living in Northeast Victoria and the Southern Riverina of NSW. From its base in Wodonga, HRCLS delivers legal services across a large catchment of 17 local government areas. In addition to legal advice, duty lawyer services, casework and referral, HRCLS provides a range of Community Legal Education and advocacy activities.
Building a picture of impact
HRCLS works hard to achieve positive impact for its community, and has a strategic interest in demonstrating the value of its work. To build capacity in this area, HRCLS has partnered with Lirata to clarify its key outcome areas and develop practical approaches to monitoring and evaluation.
Through a collaborative partnership model, Lirata is assisting HRCLS to develop an Organisational Theory of Change, an Outcome Measurement Framework, and an associated set of data collection tools. These consistent organisation-wide frameworks will provide the basis for robust outcome measurement.
