New models for positive outcomes
As social purpose organisations, we must live in the present but also in the future. We care for our communities today and keep people safe, healthy and learning – but we are always striving to increase our effectiveness and to find new pathways to a positive future. Designing and refining our services, programs and change models is a core part of our work.
Design and test
We support our partner organisations to design and plan best-practice programs and models. We will collaborate with you to review evidence, facilitate innovation conversations, and develop service models. No-one knows for sure whether a model will be effective until it's been tested, so we also provide support with monitoring, evaluation and model refinement as you pilot your approach.
Resources
We assist with tender writing and grant writing to help you get the resources you need to make your model a reality.
Review and improve
Each program and each organisation has strengths and areas for improvement. The organisations that continue to reflect, learn and adapt are the ones that are most successful. We assist with program and organisational reviews that provide you with clear, practical recommendations for improvement, to strengthen your sustainability and impact.

What our partner agencies say about us
As an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation, design and evaluation processes have had a long history of being externally imposed and top down. We chose Lirata as we wanted to work with external consultants with the right technical skills but who also understood the importance of participatory processes and relational ways of working. Lirata brought both of these aspects to the Evaluation Needs Assessment and the process and findings they led have set up the foundations for future monitoring/evaluation & learning work at Djirra.
Lirata were a good fit for Djirra and we continue to touch base and see them as accompanying our MEL journey rather than just providing a one-off consultancy product.
